Charles has been on a roll. He was recently cast as Larkin in the Eclectic Theatre Company production of “Six Degrees of Separation.” It opens at the Athenaeum in 2013. Additionally, he landed roles in three new Indy film projects to go along with the three already on his plate. On top of all of it, he’s producing and starring in a web series due out in the next month.

Shooting: Eight Days a Week

The film work keeps on coming. Charles just wrapped Autumn Leaves (DePaul), Rough Sketch (Columbia) and Real Work (Columbia). He’s finishing up filming on The Champions (SAIC) and Eschanton (SAIC). He’s set to begin shooting the Survivors (Columbia), You Bet (Columbia) and three to be named projects (Columbia and SAIC). With nearly all projects being lead roles, Charles has no shortage of scripts in his head these days.

A “Bang, Bang” Opening

Charles’ latest project, Passion Theatre’s “Bang, Bang You’re Dead” opened last weekend to rave reviews. One theatre regular said it reminder her of a Steppenwolf show. Now, that’s a compliment. The play runs through this weekend. Check the “shows” section for more info.
Filming Away the Fall

Charles has continued to have tremendous success auditioning for student films. He’s be cast in DePaul’s family drama “Autumn Leaves” and will be playing the leads in the two films from the Art Institute – the spy thriller “The Champions” and a yet to be named project that follows a man with a devastating diagnosis.
